INDIANAPOLIS – Drury University freshman Rodrigo Caceres and sophomore Ariel Xu have been named the PNC Great Lakes Valley Conference Athletes of the Week in the sports of men’s and women’s swimming and diving, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday.

Caceres took top honors in the 50 Free (20.56), placed second in the 100 Free (45.74) and anchored the 400 Medley Relay (45.24) for the Panthers in a crosstown rivalry against Missouri State last Friday.  This is the first career weekly honor for the Montevideo, Uruguay, native.
