Ida Nyman Award PNC Women's Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week Week Of 11/18/2014 Sport Women's Swimming & Diving School William Jewell Year Junior Position Hometown Norrkoping, Sweden High School Kunskapssgymnasiet AB INDIANAPOLIS – William Jewell College freshman João Pedro Granato and junior Ida Nyman have been named the PNC Great Lakes Valley Conference Athletes of the Week in the sports of men’s and women’s swimming and diving, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday. Nyman won the 100 Backstroke and 200 Backstroke against Lindenwood and Missouri-St. Louis this past Saturday. She was also third in the 400 IM with a lifetime best time. In addition to that, her 50 backstroke lead-off was a lifetime best time by two-tenths of a second (:31.47) on a relay that finished second, just narrowly missing the pool record.
