INDIANAPOLIS – University of Wisconsin-Parkside senior forward Zygimantas Riauka has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week in men’s basketball, it was announced by the league office Monday. 

Riauka finished the week with two double-doubles, helping two-time defending GLVC East Division Champion Rangers open the conference slate with a pair of road wins.  The Downers Grove, Illinois, product netted a team-high 17 points on Friday while securing 14 rebounds in a 77-69 win over Truman State before tallying 17 points and 13 boards in a 77-64 victory at Quincy on Sunday.
 
Riauka averaged 17.0 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game while dishing out two assists and netting one steal for the week.
 
This is the second career weekly selection for Riauka as he was the last Ranger to be honored on Jan. 13, 2014.
