Lewis University freshman sprinter Devin Ingram and junior thrower Adam Barr have been respectively named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced by the conference office Thursday. 

Ingram won the 55 meters at the Lewis Open this past Friday in a time of 6.51 seconds, which converts to 7.00 for the 60 meters – a GLVC Championship event.  His time is currently the second-fastest time in the GLVC this season. 

This is the Minooka, Illinois, native’s first weekly honor and the third straight for a Lewis track star as Andre Barnes was recognized on Dec. 11, followed by Andrew McLain on Dec. 17.
