University of Missouri-St. Louis freshman Felix Kusnierz and Truman State University freshman Jasmine Roghair have been named the PNC Great Lakes Valley Conference Athletes of the Week in the sports of men’s and women’s swimming and diving, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday.

Roghair, a native of Iowa City, Iowa, won the 1,000 Free at Saint Louis University on Friday with a season-best time of 10:45.53, beating her previous best this season by nearly five seconds (10:50.35).  She also won the 500 Free against SLU on Friday with a time of 5:12.96.  Facing Missouri State on Saturday, Roghair claimed third place in the 200 Free with a time of 1:59.36.

This is the first career weekly award for Roghair and the first for a Bulldog since Abby Hempen was honored on Nov. 10, 2014.
