University of Southern Indiana junior distance runner Johnnie Guy and Lewis University junior jumper Isaac Jean-Paul have been respectively named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced by the conference office Thursday. 
 
Jean-Paul’s win in the high jump with a leap of 2.14 meters (7' 1/4") at the Illiana Invitational fell just shy of a personal best but vaulted him to the top of the GLVC performance list and ranks second nationally.
 
The Gurnee, Illinois, native garners the second weekly honor of his career, having also earned the season’s first award back on Dec. 11, 2014.
