INDIANAPOLIS – Drury University junior guard Kameron Bundy has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week for men’s basketball, it was announced by the league office Monday.
In two conference road wins at Maryville and Missouri-St. Louis last week, Bundy averaged 25 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.5 steals per game.
He scored 22 points on 6-of-13 shooting for in the Panthers’ 71-54 victory at Maryville on Thursday. He was 4-for-9 from three-point range and 6-for-6 from the free-throw line, while also adding five assists and two rebounds in 35 minutes of action. ??
Two days later, the Nixa, Missouri, native led the Panthers with a career-high 28 points in an 80-76 overtime win at Missouri-St. Louis. He pulled down seven boards with and added three assists and two steals in the victory
This is the second weekly award of Bundy’s career as he was honored back on Feb. 17, 2014 – the last time a Panther standout earned a weekly accolade from the league.
