McKendree University junior sprinter Cameron James and Lewis University junior jumper Isaac Jean-Paul have been respectively named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced by the conference office Tuesday. 
 
Jean-Paul won the high jump at the NAIA vs. NCAA Challenge on Saturday, clearing a nation’s best 2.16 meters (7’-1”).  The winning leap came a week after clearing 2.14 meters at the Illiana Invitational, which also earned him GLVC Field Athlete of the Week honors.
 
The Gurnee, Illinois, native garners the third weekly honor of his career, having also earned last week’s accolade and the season’s first award back on Dec. 11, 2014.
