University of Southern Indiana senior distance runner Julia Kohnen and Lewis University senior pole vaulter Rebecca Priesler have been respectively named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced by the league office Wednesday. 

Priesler won the pole vault at the Chicagoland Championships this past Friday with a winning clearance of 12-4.75, just under her personal best.   She still sits atop the GLVC and is tied for eighth this season among NCAA Division II vaulters.

The hometown Romeoville, Illinois, native earns her third weekly honor of the indoor season and fourth of her career.  She has been recognized on Jan. 15 and 27, 2015, as well as Jan. 15, 2014.
