University of Indianapolis junior pitcher Morgan Foley has been named the GLVC Pitcher of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.

Foley garnered four wins and a save in five appearances last week. She struck out 41 batters in 21 1/3 innings while compiling a 1.31 ERA. Most notably, she threw a one-hit, 15-strikeout gem, scattering five walks and not allowing a runner to third base. The right hander had at least two strikeouts in every inning, including striking out the side in three frames. Additionally, she earned a complete-game win against Grand Valley State Saturday and struck out 12 in five innings against Saginaw Valley Friday in Florida.

The Louisville, Kentucky, native now has four weekly honors in her career, the last coming April 14, 2014.
