Indianapolis, Ind. – Lewis University’s Andy Tremble (Oregon, Ill./Oregon) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week. The senior finished second overall at the Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Invitational hosted by Loyola University Chicago on Sept. 30.
Tremble, in his first meet back since missing time due to a hamstring injury, posted a mark of 25:32 in the 8K race. Despite under orders to run a relaxed, controlled pace, he was still able to place second among 330 runners.
He was the top runner for the Flyers at the event who entered four team members in the race.
