University of Missouri-St. Louis junior Hannah Perryman was named Great Lakes Valley Conference Pitcher of the Week in the sport of softball, while Truman State University senior second baseman Andrea Klipsch has been named the GLVC Player of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.

Perryman threw back-to-back perfect games last week in two wins, 8-0 and 1-0, against Lake Superior State University and conference foe McKendree University, respectively. In the Lake Superior State win, she struck out all 15 batters faced before striking out another 13 in the league opener against McKendree. The win over McK was the junior's 23rd career shutout, which ties the Triton school record. These two performances have added to her career totals, equaling three perfect games and six no-hitters.

This is the Streamwood, Illinois, native's first weekly honor this season and 10th of her career, having last earned the accolade April 22, 2014.
