Drury University sophomore Lara Muller has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week in the sport of women's tennis, the conference announced Tuesday.

Against Arkansas Tech on March 13, Muller helped her team to an 8-1 victory after posting a No. 1 doubles victory with partner Stefanie Monsch 8-2 over Sardak Bohdana and Leyshyna Olga. Following that win, she took a 6-0, 6-2 No. 3 singles win past Olga. Two days later on March 15, the sophomore dropped Camila Quesada and Margaux Jaquet of Northwest Missouri State University 8-5 with Monsch. She then faced Jaquet in singles and won 6-0, 3-6, 10-7. The Panthers beat NW Missouri State 7-2.

This is the first career weekly honor for the Nienburg, Germany native and first for DU since doubles partner Monsch earned the first of the current season on February 12, 2015.
