University of Indianapolis senior center fielder Casey Williamson and junior pitcher Morgan Foley have been respectively named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player and Pitcher of the Week in the sport of softball, the conference office announced Monday.

Foley won all four starts last week while compiling a miniscule 0.73 ERA and striking out 49 batters in 28 2/3 innings of work. She notched two shutouts on the week, blanking Saint Joseph's Tuesday and Bellarmine Sunday. Though she surrendered her only runs of the week versus No. 15 USI Saturday, Foley pitched all nine frames in the Hounds' 4-3 extra-inning win, fanning 20 batters in the process. She struck out the side four times on the day, including each of the final three innings.

Foley followed that with a two-hit, 13-strikeout performance in a 6-0 shutout of Bellarmine Sunday. Foley tops the GLVC in innings pitched (143.0) and wins (21) while sharing the lead in strikeouts (221) and saves (3).  She also ranks second in ERA (1.17) and third in opponents' batting average (.165).

The Louisville, Kentucky, native earned the weekly honor earlier in the season on March 9, which makes this her fifth career selection.
