Bellarmine University senior Meghan Jones and University of Indianapolis senior thrower Farin Hickman have been respectively named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced by the league office Wednesday. 

Hickman earns her second straight weekly accolade as she posted two NCAA provisional mark in the women's shot put (13.81m) and hammer (57.15m) at the Indiana Intercollegiate Championships last weekend.  She also had a top-six finish in the women's javelin competition.  For her efforts during the two-day competition, the Whiteland, Indiana, native was named the 2015 Outstanding Female Field Athlete of the Year.
