Rockhurst University sophomore midfielder Claudio Romano and redshirt junior goalkeeper Remi Bibal have garnered Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week honors in the sport of men's soccer, it was announced by the league office Monday. 

Romano was tabbed GLVC Offensive Player of the Week, while Bibal was named Defensive Player of the Week.

Romano came in off the bench to lead the Hawks with three goals in as many games. He scored two game-winning goals, using his head both times, in 1-0 league wins against Missouri S&T and Drury. The sophomore also scored the fifth goal in Rockhurst's 5-5 tie at seventh-ranked Lindenwood. This is the Pazzuoli, Italy, native's first career weekly honor and the first Rockhurst player to garner the offensive nod since Mark Magee on October 7, 2013.
