Drury University sophomores Kerri Morris and Tina Haberberger have been named Great Lakes Valley Conference Players of the Week in the sport of women's soccer, it was announced by the league office Monday.
Morris was named GLVC Offensive Player of the Week, while Haberberger was tabbed Defensive Player of the Week.
Morris recorded two game-winning goals on the week and added an insurance goal in the Panthers 3-0 league win over McKendree. She netted the game-winner at the 7:23 mark and then scored the last goal of the contest at 60:28. The sophomore added her other game-winning goal in the second half for the Panthers in their 1-0 victory over Illinois Springfield on Sunday. Morris recorded eight shots on the week with five of those on goal.
The O'Fallon, Mo., native's first career weekly honor is also the first Panther offensive selection since October 20, 2014 for Shelby Hatz.
