Drury University sophomores Kerri Morris and Tina Haberberger have been named Great Lakes Valley Conference Players of the Week in the sport of women's soccer, it was announced by the league office Monday.
Morris was named GLVC Offensive Player of the Week, while Haberberger was tabbed Defensive Player of the Week.
Haberberger posted two shutout wins over McKendree and Illinois Springfield while recording eight saves on the week, five of them coming against McKendree. The goalkeeper posted a 0.00 goals against average and went 2-0 in 180 minutes in goal to help the Panthers to a perfect weekend in league action.
The St. Louis, Mo., product is Drury's first defensive selection since Haberberger was selected for the first time on September 15, 2014, which also makes this nod the second of her career.
