McKendree University senior quarterback Isaac Fisher and junior defensive lineman Lucky Baar, along with Quincy University sophomore punter Mason Murray, have been named Great Lakes Valley Conference Players of the Week in football, it was announced by the league office Monday.

Fisher was tabbed GLVC Offensive Player of the Week, Baar was picked Defensive Player of the Week, while Murray was named Special Teams Player of the Week.

Fisher helped McKendree remain undefeated by leading his team to a 38-13 Homecoming win over Southwest Baptist in a battle of the Bearcats at Leemon Field. Fisher completed 30-of-42 pass attempts for 326 yards in the contest. He threw a pair of touchdown passes and ran for two more scores as McKendree improved to 4-0 overall and 2-0 in the GLVC. He picked up 44 rushing yards against SBU, giving Fisher 370 yards of total offense in the contest. In each of the Bearcats' first four games, Fisher has thrown for better than 300 yards and at least two TDs. The Washington, Illinois native, who is currently among the top 10 in NCAA Division II in passing yards, completion percentage and total offense, earns his fourth career award and third this season.  He was honored back on Sept. 14 and 21 to go along with his first honor last year on Nov. 10, 2014.
