Lewis University senior right side hitter Alexis Davito and Missouri S&T senior libero Jackie Pyles have earned Baden/Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week honors in the sport of volleyball, it was announced by the league office Monday. 

Davito was tabbed Baden/GLVC Offensive Player of the Week, while Pyles was selected Baden/Defensive Player of the Week.

Davito helped Lewis to three wins on the week that began and ended with 3-0 sweeps, first against Saint Joseph's on Friday and concluding Saturday against Indianapolis. In between was a 3-1 victory over non-conference opponent Kentucky State. In the trio of matches, the redshirt-senior recorded 3.33 kills per set, a .538 hitting percentage, and a .774 serve percentage. She also added 32.0 points for the Flyers, averaging 3.56 points per set in nine sets of action.

This is the Crest Hill, Ill., native's second career weekly honor and first offensive Flyer selected since November 10, 2014 when Leigh Barea was chosen.
