Lewis University junior Adam Wise and Drury University junior Wen Xu have been named the PNC Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Athletes of the Week in the sports of men's and women's swimming and diving, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday.
 
?Wise competed in a dual meet on Saturday, October 3 at Division I Valparaiso University and placed first in both the 50 free (21.41) and 100 free (47.48). He also anchored the winning 200 medley relay team, posting a 20.99 in his leg of the race that added to the team time of 1:35.60. Lewis won the meet by a score of 140-62.
 
The product of Ocala, Fla., earns his first career weekly selection and is the first Flyer to be chosen since Bryan Wiener was honored November 10, 2014.
