Drury University sophomore forward Charles Guelly and Rockhurst University junior defender Paul Dean have earned Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week honors in the sport of men's soccer, it was announced by the league office Monday. 

Guelly was named GLVC Offensive Player of the Week, while Dean was selected Defensive Player of the Week.

Dean anchored the Rockhurst backline to a pair of shutout wins over the weekend as the Hawks opened with a 2-0 decision past Maryville on Friday before beating Missouri-St. Louis 1-0 on Sunday. The junior played in all 180 minutes of action and scored the game-winner on a header against the Tritons.

This is the Overland Park, Kans., product's first career weekly nod and first defensive selection for the Hawks since Stefano Radio was chosen on September 15, 2014.
