University of Indianapolis freshman setter Maggie Gibson and Rockhurst University sophomore libero Anne Hellwege have earned Baden/Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week honors in the sport of volleyball, it was announced by the league office Monday. 

Gibson was tabbed Baden/GLVC Offensive Player of the Week, while Hellwege was selected Baden/Defensive Player of the Week.

Hellwege led the Hawks with 64 digs (6.40/set) in three victories on the week. She posted a season-high 30 digs in a 3-1 win over Drury Friday after collecting 18 in a sweep of William Jewell Tuesday and before tallying 16 in another sweep of Missouri S&T Saturday. Overall, she recorded a .944 reception percentage in 36 total attempts, including a perfect 1.000 percentage against Jewell and Drury. Additionally, the sophomore was perfect in her service game, recording no errors in 49 attempts.

The St. Louis, Mo., product garners her third career and second weekly honor of the season after being selected September 14.
