Bellarmine University freshman Evan Shive and sophomore Olivia Hoskins have been named the PNC Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Athletes of the Week in the sports of men's and women's swimming and diving, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday.

Hoskins also opened the 2015-16 season at the Asbury Invite on Saturday and won three events, including the 100 fly (1:01.96), 200 fly (2:19.86) and 200 individual medley (2:14.46). She aided the Knights to a first-place finish in the five-team field with 238 points, 68 ahead of runner-up Asbury.

The product of LaGrange, Ky., earns her third career weekly selection and is the first female Knight to be chosen since she earned the nod on October 28, 2014.
