University of Wisconsin-Parkside junior outside hitter Rebecca Roembke and Lewis University redshirt-junior libero Nicole Yuede have earned Baden/Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week honors in the sport of volleyball, it was announced by the league office Monday. 

Roembke was named Baden/GLVC Offensive Player of the Week, while Yuede was selected Baden/Defensive Player of the Week.

Roembke earned a spot on the 2015 Mizuno Midwest Region Volleyball Crossover All-Tournament Team after guiding the Rangers to a perfect 3-0 record at the event for the third time in four years. The she had 12 kills and seven digs in a 3-0 sweep of Findlay to begin the tournament on Friday before closing the day with an 18-kill effort in another three-set sweep, this time at the expense of Tiffin. The outside hitter was dialed in against the Dragons, finishing the match with a .567 hitting percentage. She closed the tournament on Saturday with six kills and six digs in another 3-0 victory, downing Michigan Tech for the second time this season. For the tournament, the junior and current GLVC kills leader, finished with 36 kills and 19 digs, averaging 4.0 kills per set while owning an attack percentage of .378.

This is the Cedarburg, Wis., native's first career weekly honor and first offensive Ranger selected since 2013 when Kendyl Danelski was chosen October 28.
