University of Wisconsin-Parkside junior outside hitter Rebecca Roembke and Lewis University redshirt-junior libero Nicole Yuede have earned Baden/Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week honors in the sport of volleyball, it was announced by the league office Monday.

Roembke was named Baden/GLVC Offensive Player of the Week, while Yuede was selected Baden/Defensive Player of the Week.

Yuede played 15 sets in three matches over the weekend at the 2015 Mizuno Midwest Region Volleyball Crossover Tournament, earning All-Tournament honors for her efforts as the only libero selected. In the opening match Friday against #23 Grand Valley State, she was perfect in receiving with no errors on 26 attempts and recorded just one error in 18 service attempts for a .944 in the 3-2 win. In the Flyers second five-set victory on Friday versus Michigan Tech, the libero was nearly perfect in her receiving game again, committing just one error for a .971 percentage on 34 attempts. She also added an impressive season-high, 35-dig performance in the victory. No. 19 Lewis closed the Crossover on Saturday with a 3-2 barnburner win over Findlay as the redshirt-junior added a .903 receiving percentage, an .850 serve percentage and 19 digs. For the weekend, Yuede averaged 4.93 digs per set with a .956 receiving percentage.

The St. Charles, Mo., product garners her first career weekly honor and is the first Flyer to be honored since Kim Vertin's selection on September 23, 2013.
