University of Indianapolis sophomore running back Andrew Walker and senior wide receiver and return specialist Reece Horn, along with Saint Joseph's College senior linebacker Joel Wimbley, have been named Great Lakes Valley Conference Players of the Week in football, it was announced by the league office Monday.

Walker was tabbed GLVC Offensive Player of the Week, Wimbley was picked Defensive Player of the Week, while Horn was named Special Teams Player of the Week.

Horn turned in another record-setting performance in UIndy's 41-18 road victory at Lincoln. Seven weeks after breaking the GLVC mark for receiving yards in a game (241), the Carmel, Indiana, native became the conference's single-game leader in punt return yards with 149.  His total broke the previous mark of 145 yards, set by former Greyhound Klay Fiechter against Quincy on Sept. 15, 2012.  Horn's breakout moment last Saturday came in the first quarter when he fielded a Blue Tiger punt at the 8-yard line and took it all the way back for a touchdown. The 92-yard jaunt was the longest scoring punt return by a Greyhound since 1983, the first year return information is available.  Horn had three other punt returns on the afternoon, averaging 49.3 yards per attempt. He also finished with four receptions for 48 yards on the way to 197 all-purpose yards.  Horn is the first UIndy special teams standout honored by the league since Brad Schickel on Oct. 12, 2015.
