University of Indianapolis freshman Vitor Botana and Truman State University sophomore Nikki Sisson have been named the PNC Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Athletes of the Week in the sports of men's and women's swimming and diving, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday.

Sisson was spectacular in back-to-back meets for Truman, placing first in eight different events, six solo and two relay. She picked up three top individual finishes on both Friday and Saturday, touching first in the 50 freestyle (NCAA B-cut 24.01 low vs. LWU), 100 free (52.55 low vs. LWU) and 200 free (NCAA B-cut 1:52.10 low vs. LWU), while joining up with a relay squad for first place in both the 200 free relay (ISU) and 400 free relay (LWU). The Bulldogs outswam both Division I Illinois State and Division II Lindenwood for a 127-78 and 153-109 victory, respectively. The win against ISU was the first in program history.

The product of Springfield, Mo., earns her third career weekly selection and is the first female Bulldog to be chosen since Jasmine Roghair earned the nod on January 20, 2015.
