University of Southern Indiana freshman forward Kasper Bjoro and sophomore goalkeeper Adam Zehme have garnered the final Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week honors of the season in the sport of men's soccer, it was announced by the league office Monday.

Bjoro was tabbed GLVC Offensive Player of the Week, while Zehme was named Defensive Player of the Week.

Bjoro powered the Eagles' offense in a 2-0 road victory that helped USI earn a berth in the GLVC Championship Tournament. In the must-win contest, the freshman scored the game-winning goal midway through the second half and assisted on the insurance goal less than 10 minutes later. The victory secured USI's No. 8 seed and final spot in the postseason. On the season, Bjoro has scored five goals, the most by an Eagles' freshman since 2009.

This is the Oslo, Norway, native's first career weekly honor and the first for a Screaming Eagle this season, while Josh Weinzapfel earned the last USI weekly honor on October 29, 2012.
