Fairman paced the Bearcats to a 2-0 record over the weekend in Lebanon, Illinois. She had an outstanding .529 hitting percentage with just one error in a 3-2 victory over Missouri S&T. The Miners (20-9) were ranked one spot ahead of McKendree in the NCAA Midwest Region entering the match. The middle hitter put down 10 kills on 17 attempts and added one block up front for McK. Fairman followed up with another impressive showing on Saturday, landing 13 kills on 21 attempts, tallying a .571 hitting percentage. She paired her offensive output with another strong defensive performance adding two blocks to hold Drury (19-9) to a .175 team hitting percentage. Overall on the weekend the junior added 23 kills in eight sets, averaging nearly three kills per set with a robust .553 hitting percentage to go along with three blocks.

This is the Staunton, Ill., native's first career weekly honor and becomes the first ever Cat selected as an offensive honoree.
