Drury University junior Daniel Rzadkowski and University of Indianapolis freshman Madeleine Leger have been named the PNC Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Athletes of the Week in the sports of men's and women's swimming and diving, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday.

Drury hosted an Invitational Friday and Saturday Nov. 6-7, and Rzadkowski won three events over the course of the two-day meet. He started the invite with a 50 freestyle win, touching in at 20.95. The junior followed up that performance the next day with two more victories in the 100 (45.62) and 200 free (1:41.67) to lead his Panthers (856.5) to victory over Missouri S&T (717), William Jewell (542.5), Missouri-St. Louis (481), Delta State (132) and Maryville (19).

This is the first career weekly award for the Suwalki, Poland, native and the first male Panther chosen since Samuel Olsen was selected as last season's final honoree on January 27, 2015.
