McKendree University senior hurdler Irma Maciukaite and William Jewell College senior multi-event specialist Margaret Perko have been respectively named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced by the conference office Wednesday. 

Maciukaite finished tied for second among collegians in the 400 meters at last week's UIndy Winter Break Meet with an indoor personal best time of 59.65 seconds, an effort currently ranks second in the GLVC.  She also competed in the 200 meters with a time of 26.05, falling just shy of her previous week's mark which would have equaled her current rank of second in the GLVC. 

The Pasvalys, Lithuania native is the first Bearcat to earn a GLVC Indoor Track accolade in program history.
