University of Indianapolis juniors Bucky Coonradt and Aggie Malecka have been named the PNC Great Lakes Valley Conference Athletes of the Week in men's and women's swimming and diving, it was announced by the league office Wednesday.

Coonradt helped the Indianapolis men beat GLVC foe William Jewell 137-86 by winning the 50 freestyle in a short course meter (SCM) time of 24.38. He also anchored the winning 400 free relay with a split of 53.52, adding to the team total of 3:35.20. The junior also joined the Greyhound 'B' relay medley in the 400 SCM (3:58.96), swimming 58.65 in the third leg for a 1-2 UIndy finish.

This is the first career weekly honor for the Aurora, Ill., native, and he is the fourth male Hound chosen this season with the last selection going to Vitor Botana on Nov. 24, 2015.
