University of Missouri-St. Louis senior Hannah Perryman and junior Sara Kern were named Great Lakes Valley Conference Pitcher and Player of the Week, respectively, in the sport of softball, the Conference office announced Monday.

Perryman went 5-0 without allowing a run in 33 innings against non-league foes. She surrendered just seven hits, while issuing only four walks.

On Saturday at 8-State Classic in Arkansas, she tossed a no-hitter and a one-hitter in back-to-back games. The no-hitter was against Southeastern Oklahoma, in which she struck out 10 was her 12th career no-hitter, moving her into a tie for fourth place on the NCAA Division II career charts. The one-hitter came against Northwestern Oklahoma State, in which she struck out 18, tying the third best seven-inning performance in NCAA DII history. The senior also moved up to 7th in NCAA career annals with 1,257 career strikeouts.

This is the Streamwood, Ill., native's third season earning the opening weekly honor and is the 13th of her career.
