University of Missouri-St. Louis senior Hannah Perryman and junior Sara Kern were named Great Lakes Valley Conference Pitcher and Player of the Week, respectively, in the sport of softball, the Conference office announced Monday.

Kern helped UMSL to a 6-0 week, starting every game in the outfield, recording 11 hits that included four home runs. She added 10 RBI and scored seven runs while batting .500 and slugging 1.045 in 22 at-bats. The junior hit safely in all six games, recording three multi-hit and as many multi-RBI games.

The Prospect Heights, Ill., product earns her first career weekly honor.
