Lewis University junior forward Mariyah Brawner-Henley has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week in women's basketball, it was announced by the league office Monday.

On 7-of-11 (63.6%) shooting with one triple, Brawner-Henley tallied 20 points and earned a double-double by adding 15 rebounds in the Flyers' 60-46 road win at UW-Parkside last Thursday. The win kept the team's record away from home at a perfect 16-0, extending its win streak to four and notching a single-season school record for conference wins with 17. This victory also garnered them an automatic spot in St. Charles, Missouri, for the GLVC Championship Tournament as the No. 2 seed.

The 6-footer shot 83.8 percent (5-6) from the line and tallied four assists in 32 minutes. Additionally, the double-double is her 21st of the season and 46th in her career.

The Skokie, Illinois, native earns the fifth weekly honor of her career. She was last recognized on Jan. 5 as well as Dec. 22 of this season.
