University of Indianapolis senior outfielder Erika Goodwin and Bellarmine University senior pitcher Ally Foster were named Great Lakes Valley Conference Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively, in the sport of softball, the Conference office announced Monday.

Foster has been credited with each win for Bellarmine in the circle this season, improving her record from the circle to 7-3 after two convincing wins over Ohio Dominican, 9-1 and 4-1. She allowed only nine hits in 12 innings of work, striking out 13 batters on the weekend. Both runs allowed were unearned, which lowers the seniors' season ERA to 1.47.

This is the Louisville, Ky., native's third career weekly honor, having last been selected March 31, 2015.
