Truman State University senior sprinter Dominic Kacich and Missouri S&T senior pole vaulter Ryan McGuire have been respectively named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced Wednesday by the conference office.
 
McGuire finished first in the pole vault at the Southwest Baptist Invitational with an NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 16 feet, 10.75 inches.  His clearance ranks him first in the GLVC and fourth in Division II.
 
The Hobart, Indiana native garners his second weekly honor in the outdoor season as he was first recognized on May 2, 2014.
