Truman State University senior sprinter Dominic Kacich and Missouri S&T senior pole vaulter Ryan McGuire have been respectively named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced Wednesday by the conference office.

Kacich won the 400-meter dash at the Central Methodist Invitational this past week with a time of 48.41 seconds, which ranks first in the GLVC.  He also ran a leg in 48.55 on the winning 4x400-meter relay, which also tops the conference charts this season.
 
This is the first weekly honor ever earned by a Truman standout.
