Lewis University junior distance specialist Amanda Farrough and senior jumper Amber Cook have been respectively named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, it was announced Tuesday by the conference office.

Cook won the Mt. SAC Relays triple jump with a leap of 41’-3”, which set a new school record, put her atop the GLVC performance list, and ranks her second overall in NCAA II this season.

A native of Graysville, Illinois, Cook earns her first outdoor weekly honor of her career.
