Lewis University junior middle hitter Aly Schneider and Bellarmine University sophomore libero Jordyn Kuchenbrod have garnered the first Baden Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week honors for the 2016 volleyball season, it was announced by the league office Monday.

-Helped Lewis to an undefeated 4-0 record in opening weekend, including two victories over AVCA Top-5 ranked opponents
-Racked up a team-best 45 kills
-Hit a team-best .449 (45-5-89)
-Averaged one block per set (1-12-13)
-Notched a team-best 14 kills and .545 hitting in 3-0 sweep vs. Central Washington
-Added five blocks against CWU (1 solo, 4 assists)
-Earns her first Offensive Player of the Week award
