Bellarmine University junior middle blocker/outside hitter Margaret Horihan and University of Missouri-St. Louis libero Danielle Waedekin have been selected as the Baden Great Lakes Valley Conference Players of the Week for volleyball, it was announced by the league office Monday.

• Helped UMSL to 3-0 weekend at Scott Jones Classic
• Averaged 5.40 digs per set
• Held opponents to .158 hitting
• Tallied 17 digs in three-set win over Alabama Huntsville, which hit .054 in its first loss of the season
• Recorded match-high 22 digs in five-set win at regional foe Trevecca Nazarene with three assists and as many service aces
• Notched 15 digs in sweep of in-region foe Walsh, adding three assists.
• Earns her first career Defensive Player of the Week award
