The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) has named University of Indianapolis sophomore Katharina Keilich as its first-ever Women’s Golf Player of the Week, it was announced by the league office Thursday.

-Earned medalist honors in the 93-player UIndy Invitational
-Shot a school-record, 36-hole 142 (70-71)
-Finished under par in both rounds
-UIndy finished runner-up in 17-team field
-Invitational field featured seven teams from 2016 NCAA D-II Championships
-Invitational field included five of the current top-12 Golfstat.com ranked teams
-Finished 2016 as GLVC Player and Freshman of the Year
-Earns her first career Player of the Week award
-First-ever Greyhound to earn Player o the Week honors*
