Drury University sophomore midfielder Antoine Vial and University of Missouri-St. Louis senior goalkeeper Jack Filla have earned Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week honors for men’s soccer, it was announced by the league office Monday.

Team Results: 1-0 W vs. Illinois Springfield, 2-0 W vs. McKendree
-Recorded two shutouts in all 180 minutes of play
-Made five saves in two games on 27 shots, including four against McKendree
-Silenced UIS that had previously scored six goals in two games
-Helped UMSL to fifth-straight win and a 4-0 record in GLVC
-Earns his first career Defensive Player of the Week award
