Lewis University junior middle hitter Aly Schneider and University of Missouri-St. Louis libero Danielle Waedekin have been selected as the Baden Great Lakes Valley Conference Players of the Week for volleyball, it was announced by the league office Monday.

-Averaged 5.57 digs per set
-Helped limit opponents to .091 hitting
-Tallied match-high 14 digs against UIndy
-Also dished out six assists and picked up one service ace against the Greyhounds
-Recorded season-best and match-high 25 digs in win over Saint Joseph’s
-13 of the 25 digs came in second set where UMSL held Pumas to -.067 hitting
-Helped UMSL to 2-0 start in GLVC play
-3-0 win over Indianapolis was UMSL’s first since 2008
-Earns her second Defensive Player of the Week award
