Lewis University junior middle hitter Aly Schneider and Quincy University junior libero Rachel Shores have been selected as the Baden Great Lakes Valley Conference Players of the Week for volleyball, it was announced by the league office Monday.

Team Results: 3-0 W vs. Lindenwood, 3-1 W vs. Bellarmine, 3-0 W vs. Southern Indiana

• Finished with 56 digs, 10 assists and five aces in a 3-0 week
• Tallied 5.6 digs per set, including 6.0 digs per set in two GLVC wins
• Made zero receiving errors in 30 attempts
• Matched a season-high 25 digs against USI for an average of 8.33 per set
• Her passing helped Quincy to its highest team hitting percentage in two years at .333 against Lindenwood
• Earns her first career Defensive Player of the Week award
• First-ever Quincy Defensive Player of the Week
