Quincy University sophomore forward Eddie Plesha and University of Missouri-St. Louis senior goalkeeper Jack Filla have earned Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week honors for men’s soccer, it was announced by the league office Monday.

Team Results: 2-2 (2OT) T vs. Missouri S&T, 4-3 (OT) W vs. No. 16 Drury

• Notched two goals and two assists for six points in win over #16 Drury
• Forced overtime by scoring two goals within a two-minute stretch late in second half when QU trailed 3-1
• Offered game-winning assist less than three minutes into OT
• Also assisted on the 1-1 game-tying goal
• Earns his first career Offensive Player of the Week award
