Bojan JovicicIndianapolis, Ind.The University of Wisconsin-Parkside’s Bojan Jovicic (Milwaukee, Wis./Hamilton) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Soccer Player of the Week. The junior forward claimed the honor for the second consecutive week after leading the Rangers to wins at Saint Joseph’s College and at the University of Indianapolis.  
Jovicic scored both goals in the Rangers’ 2-1 win over Saint Joseph’s on Sept. 8. He secured his first goal of the contest in the 11th minute of the first half and nailed home the game-winning goal in the 40th minute.
 
Against the 24th-ranked Greyhounds, Jovicic picked up a goal and an assist in the 4-0 win on Sept. 10. He assisted on Joe Hnath’s game-winner at the 21:40 mark of the first half and added an insurance goal for the Rangers in the 26th minute of play.
 
Jovicic, the nation’s leading scorer, finished the week with three goals and an assist and now has ten goals in the Rangers’ first six matches. He has also added four assists and currently has 24 points on the year.
 
UW-Parkside (6-0-0, 4-0-0 GLVC) is currently ranked tenth in the NSCAA/adidas national rankings. The Rangers will host 11th-ranked SIU Edwardsville and Quincy University this weekend.
