Southern Illinois University Edwardsville’s Chris Littleton (Champaign, Ill.) is the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.

Littleton, a junior for the Cougars, collected top-five finishes in four events at the Missouri Invitational on Saturday. He posted a time of 7.18 in the 60-meter dash. Littleton placed second in the 200-meter dash in a time of 22.58 and fifth in the 400-meter dash in a time of 51.24.

The junior also ran the leadoff leg of the 4x400 meter relay team which finished the event in a time of 3:18.24. The mark currently ranks the SIUE team second on the NCAA Division II performance list. They finished second in the relay at the Missouri Invitational

SIUE will next be in action on Jan. 19 at the Eastern Illinois University Mega Meet.
