Rockhurst University senior outside hitter Morgan Rietzke and Lewis University sophomore outside hitter Elizabeth Hyland have earned Baden Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week honors in volleyball, it was announced by the league office Monday.

  • Averaged 14.3 digs, 1.8 blocks, and a double-double in three GLVC victories
  • Posted 13 digs, 10 kills, 3 blocks versus UW-Parkside on Oct. 4
  • Team-high 19 digs, 12 kills, 2 blocks in five-set, come-from-behind win over Bellarmine on Oct. 7 
  • Recorded 11 digs and 12 kills against Southern Indiana on Oct. 8
  • Earns her first Defensive Player of the Week award
